Now there is some wonderful plants I was sick that week and everything is gone so I am going to have to try this upcoming year to collect some wild flowers! Great photos are these your green thumbs work!?

pigita - the purple colored one? I have not the slightest idea. I got it from Thailand, just one small twig and it has grown to that size since. But it would look lovely if it grows in one bush instead of one trunk like that. will take time to "expand" it. give me sometime to multiply it.

jamie - i'm so sorry to hear that you were sick. no rush, anytime you are fit and able to get the flowers, i'd appreciate them very much. i believe it would grow here, for it's year long summer!!

i don't dare to claim of having green thumbs but yeah, all of it i nurtured myself.

it reminds me of the balsam plant but it's much taller and more "spindly"

Uncle, u sure u have not introduced invasive species from Thailand into msia??? hehehe

I can see it's height from the 2nd pic, it's already 2x the normal height of a balsam plant.

Leaves are also different.

It reminded me of the balsam bcos its flowers are on the main stalk of the plant itself, not on end of flower stems.

It looks interesting. How are u going to try to "expand" it?? It doesnt seem to have "sub-stalks" (hope u know what i mean) which is the same as the balsam.

i won't know, it's probably of the same family.

i will try to graft from the stem, once it's more matured.
