I am supposed to be witty and funny with this entry, lest I don't get the free lesson in baking. If you guys are thinking that you could be funny and wants to have free baking lessons (the key word is free, not the baking, everybody loves freebies), go to the link that can be found all over this posts.
So, would the readers be so kind as to click on the links (mentioned here, again !!) and if I can't get the free lessons by being witty, at least the judge might consider me for sending as many visitors to the blogs instead, spreading the news for free. And as the sayings go, one free service deserves another free service, right?
Coming back to baking, I actually would love to learn to bake, which I have put off for very long time. The main reason being that, I hate to wash the utensils afterwards. I have learned to bake bread when I was like in Standard 4, successfully, I might add. While my friends followed the recipe given by our teacher to the T, I modified it with other ingredients, hahaha. And breads are slightly more forgiving, I guess. If I modified the ingredients for cakes, I wonder if the result will be disastrous. So, I guess, this baking lesson would be a good place to start eh? (hint! hint! to the organiser, again...)
On why I should be given the opportunity for the free baking classes, well, I would say, there is a good chef waiting to be discovered and the world might not be same, ever again with the presence of this new chef. ehem... And, oh, I have an industrial sized oven to boot, so, the lessons will not go to waste as I will be making full use of the under-utilised oven if only I know how to bake, right?
Lastly, talking about baking, cakes and breads, I really loves the bakery in Taiwan. When I walked into their bakeries, I was like a kid in a candy store. The variety are simply mind-blowing and mouth-watering. Needless to say, their presentation are superb too and that you just can't resist to buy yourself some of the breads or cakes on display there. Another kudos to the bakeries there is that, their lots are mostly FRESHLY bake, in the sense that you can see them coming out from ovens. Another good point is that they always, ALWAYS have sampler for you to test. That is the killer temptation, once you have bitten the tester, you are hooked and you would buy. May be, if I ever starts my own bakeries, I would follow their example, ehem...hint! hint!
